This is some of the feedback and thanks we've received from past clients. Sure, we didn't need to put it here. But where else to put some humbling praise other than on your website for future clients to see. We hope to put your words here too some day.

Pokorn Construction helped Galeria Alegria with a very unique carpentry project - TWICE. The task was to install a 30’ wide and 8’ tall huge, extremely heavy mosaic artwork at the Hotel Monteleone and at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The challenge was that the artwork had to be freestanding and so secure that not even a football team leaning on the artwork could flip it over. Christian and his team had each time only a couple of hours to install and break down the artwork while being watched in the process by hundreds of people that wanted to take pictures. Pokorn Construction was punctual, creative, flexible and professional throughout the entire process. The project included building angled braces, creating finished carpentry moldings for the frame of the artwork - and on the spot problem solving with challenges arriving on site. A complex and very difficult carpentry project executed in front of high profile executives and vip’s in awe by the skill and speed displayed installing this 240 sqft sized artwork. Thank you so much - we will do business again.

So professional and polite. Christian is a great guy to work with. Very prompt, polite, easy to talk to about all of your issues. He really helped my wife walk through all of the issues we needed fixed - done in a way that helped her understand completely what would be done, at what price and what options we had. I’ll be asking him to do some additional construction and cabinetry work soon too.

Pokorn Construction designed and built a walk-in closet in my converted double shotgun house. The closet is amazing. It only adds to the appeal of the existing architecture. They added a bookcase/gallery area in the hall without losing any closet space. It is absolutely perfect.

Pokorn Construction did a cabinet at our restaurant. He was fast, reliable, efficient and he charged us a fair price. We would recommend him to anyone.

On-time, precise, hard-working, speedy... a real class act. Christian and his team can be counted on to do excellent work, on time, on budget, and with a smile. We could not ask for anything more. Seriously. My only regret is that he can’t also work on a different home across the country!

Kind, knowledgable, trustworthy. Great company and crew. I plan on using for additional work around the house. Very understanding of old New Orleans construction.

Had some various construction and maintenance work done by Pokorn Construction. Found them to be very professional: arriving when promised, etc. For a NOLA contractor to (1) return phone calls regularly, (2) appear when promised, and (3) get a quote/estimate in short order are almost miraculous, and Pokorn did all three.

Beyond the great service, the work was done really well, and exactly as promised. No surprises, no unexpected changes. Really happy with the work done, and when i need more work from a contractor, i will certainly go back to Pokorn Construction.

We have been very blessed in choosing our neighbor Chris Pokorn of Pokorn Construction as our contractor for work being done at our house. Chris bought Bobbi Abood’s house at 2307 General Pershing right next door to our other new neighbor David Jackson on the corner. Chris has a beautiful wife and two charming children and is well entrenched in the neighborhood with father living just a couple doors down. This should give you confidence that he is here to stay. Chris has a well established business with all the insurance and licenses you would require. The work was done to perfection and attention to detail was astounding. But most of all you will love him and love the quality of work that he does. He is competitively priced and worth every penny. His work is meticulous and well planned. He listens to every concern and incorporates any request into the design with a smile. He and his crew are a joy to have in the house. No job is too big or small and all performed with respect for your treasures and lifestyle. As senior citizens we requested him to in addition - “please move this heavy piece of furniture upstairs for me” and he smiled and said he would be happy to. I just wish I could claim blood relations to this family I am so proud to have them in the neighborhood. If the task is not his best skill - he has someone on his team that is an expert at it.
